The whole Beyonce stole her sound thing was always a reach. Rich was giving that gogo sound out to anyone who wanted a hit.

And she was pretty much overshadowed from jump; her and Ashanti debuted the same year all the gorls flocked to Shans (still don't get why) and she became the household name. I still don't really get why her career faltered the way it did, but she made some quality projects.
