He's probably come under a lot of heat for being there.

But, if he was assigned to do it - it's either stand there as assigned or go into activist mode, dip into insubordination, possibly lose your job and let your child go hungry a bit.

I think he's basically trying to say - these people are evil, but my wife isn't like that. I don't return to this when I go home, I return to love.

I think that's exactly what he was saying. He was saying they aren't all racist. Its apart of his duty.

Doing what I do we take an oath to provide. I have been called nigger and everything else. I still have to do what I swore I would. Its different If you assault me bc that same oath gives me the right yo fuck a bitch up. There have been times where I saved their life and they come back in tears apologizing for their views and things they may have said. I wouldn't dare let them stop me from doing what I love to do.
