funny though, how bad off are these ppl if they have time to be posting on Twitter?
water is rising around you, and you're busy wondering about celebs instead of trying to contact some type of Emergency service

[Annie]

Maybe it is because of the trauma of what happened in New Orleans. Bush didn't help anyone..the president left people standing underneath a bridge. It was Oprah who helped those people. A celebrity with money and someone who cared.
Do the people trust the president and government to help out?

[Opposites Attract.]

It actually felt weird watching and enjoying the VMA's last night knowing that people were literally swimming around in their houses and lost their homes, etc.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Fuck them. Where was all this mess in 2005 during Katrina. Those people homes still ain't fixed.

[KING BENTLEY.]

A hurricane is coming. Nobody should have to tell you to evacuate voluntarily or not. And like the mayor said, you guys try evacuating 6 million ppl, and good luck!

It's just bad on all fronts and ppl love to place the blame wherever they can.  It's easy to sit on a forum and complain about what's not being done, but fly down and grab a bucket instead of criticizing. it's a natural disaster guys, let's treat it as such and not another political platform. Geesh
