Janet was 16 when she released her debut and 18 when she released Dream Street. They were cute albums for the time but had nothing to do with her artistry and she didn't have anything to do with them except lend her vocals. If you wanna get technical and not say that Rhythm Nation wasn't her second album, let's talk about ages.



She was 23 when she released RN and your 30+year old flops aren't touching half of the shit she did in that era let alone the monster eras to follow.
