This wouldn't change much actually. People focus too much on Africa and not the theory itself. Africa is just a piece of land. Reading this article makes it seems like oh they were intermingling in Africa and Asian.

All it looks like it's saying is ancient humans left Africa earlier or were in both places at the same time and if you look at ancient history of people all over the world the original people everywhere were dark skinned.
