This is a politicking on Netflix part. As they lost the first bid for the comedy special to hbo. They want to lock her in for the future. She most likely has a development deal that will allow her to create and pilot new content.

she can come up with a new stand-up routine
or she can use old jokes whatever as long as it?s not the same as the special. I?m sure she?s done that before, all comedians do
Kevin Hart never uses his tour jokes at his other venues
same with Eddie Murphy, he kept the ?Raw? routine where it was when he did other shows it?s really not a big deal
