I think the point is... if another non-black (white mainly) female comedian got an animated role, the odds of her being PAID MORE is high.  Comedy show, drama show, animated show, doesn't matter.

and DeRay doesn't have an animated show, so its just pointless and pulling numbers out of nowhere to show Tiffany being paid less.

And that's the issue we need to focus on.

She keeps saying "oh, pay me what a legend deserves, look at my resume" etc...but what was her role going to be in producing the content? Was she only going to be the face of the comedy special providing just her jokes?

Was she going to use all original content, or would she have a co-contributor? Did she have any chance to get production credits? Did she have a hand in coordinating anything behind the scenes?

The thing is...of course there's disparity of pay across various industries, including hers...sometimes the difference is negligible, sometimes it's not. But it's not always because of gender or racial bias...a big problem with the pay gap discussion is that it often doesn't account for the difference in job titles, difference in jobs, or the difference in hours worked...
