Freaks and Geeks? almost had a very random guest star.

?One of the things was that [NBC] really wanted us to try and write Britney Spears into this,? the show?s creator, Paul Feig, revealed at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of ?Freaks and Geeks: The Documentary? on Saturday.



?They were like, ?She?s really popular now, maybe she could play a waitress or something,'? Feig said.

Now this doesn?t seem like a big deal but back then it would have given her credibility as an actress if she was good

Probably even getting her own tv show like Brandy

F&G was one of the best shows ever, but hardly got any viewers and lasted one season.
