You guys probably know those people right? They get into a relationship and suddenly everything revolves around their lover. It kinda makes me feel as if us "friends" were boyfriend replacement at the time she didn't have one...
It's the same with one of my best friends. We would always be up to date on each others messes, meet at least once a week, and write daily (about everything from bullshit to heartbreak stories).
But anyway, like I said it has changed within weeks of ha meeting the bf, although he's def not all that imo (but I don't wanna be the debbie downer, if she's happy).
So after almost a month of not seeing each other, she invited me to this halloween party. Said it's a house party and club afterwards. Initially I'm already not that enthusiastic, since aside from herself, it's only the boyfriends social circle (which i find rather boring and weird). So I say yes anyway and she buys the tix for me aswell but the whole thing just doesn't feel fun. Like I'm looking for a costume on my own, she's not replying when I ask her for advice on what to wear or ask her if she can do my zombie make-up etc....Like we used to do that shit together, look for a costume together and it was half of the fun to prepare together. plus I don't know whether his people will all be properly costumed or not so it could be embarrassing for me. and she's too unavailable for me to get the opportunity to even ask about it.
So all in all, I feel pretty much neglected and am thinking about canceling for tonight. She was already asking "Are you angry", so maybe it's not that unexpected already.
What do you guys think? Am I being too dramatic?
