Glad she has refocused!!! Bring the fire Brandy!!!

Sovereign.

I?m glad she?s working with young blood. It?s exciting tbh and in the same breath I haven?t been SNATCHED by a lot of Camper?s material. Hopefully, he surprises us all.

All I need for Camper to do is play with weird sounds for this album... he got mood, knock and melody locked down... just don?t give her no basic shit that we could?ve heard on a diff album

Yeah Rodney n Tim can kick rocks. Only good think about Rodney is that we get the best vocals outta Bran imo with him.

Rodney can?t even produce a good vocal out of his daughter. I think the vocals were all Brandy and LaShawn Daniels.

I think theres some merit to it. Bran herself stated Rodney really pushed her vocally. Human included. NSN, FM and Human are her most vocal albums in terms of full use of her range.

I know she is cutting up!!! Camper is pretty diverse. I wouldn?t mind him helming the project. If she feels the chemistry, let it out! He may just be the exec producer though.

meh, she doesn?t need that now tho.

Look how she?s been snapping all on her own ssddd although Oakestra mentioned how he told Brandy to go off on Beggin?

Beggin? and Pleadin?/Lullaby are fucking insane vocally :kii:  this album is gonna lash ALL of her albums in that department if that?s her desire

But none of us know the direction of course. She?s a weird one, because on the surface it looks like ?oh ok, camper. R&B?

but she could be pushing him in another realm altogether. I?m skeptical, intrigued and confident all in one ssss

Oh yeah, for sure. This is the first time I believe Brandy really knows how much of a vocal icon she is. And ever since she came to understand how dope and loved she is by many, her entire vocal approach now is different. There's more confidence in her voice now, if that makes sense. Even with how she sings live, versus during the Full Moon era. So I'm expecting nothing but greatness. I cant wait. I think with her other albums, we couldve predicted the sound and had an idea as to what to expect, especially with 2/11. This is all suspense and I'm intrigued.

And the way her vocal approach switches with every album
:loose2when:

I know exactly what you mean. EVERYTHING including the backs and harmonies are in your face
:plzstop:

She?s not tucking and hiding a damn thing. :kii: we hearing it all these days. Look at the way a song like ?Bridge to love? with Ginuwine is mixed compared to now

She used to always talk about how she preferred recording backs/harmonies and adlibs In comparison to LEADS, but now u can?t tell. The leads are super large and in charge

Confident like you said
