She came from nothing in the Bronx. Had plenty of people telling her that she would never be anything.
When people hear things like that from a lot of folks, it has its way of echoing in their head for a long time.
And because of that, I think she hasn't really accepted ..like FULLY accepted that she's made it. She won.
Sucky thing about insecurity that's very deeply rooted is that no matter how many plaques and certifications she gets, she's still gonna feel a need to prove herself.
BUt that's why it confused me when the Cards were getting on Nicki for insecurity
