Mariah Carey is apparently working on a "secret project," taking to Twitter on Sunday (Aug. 26) to share a new teaser.

In a short, seven-second video, Carey is seen sitting on a pink bed filled with high-heel shoes and jewelry, as a man?s voice says in the background, ?So, we are shooting a secret project...?

When the camera pants to Carey, the singer adds, ?Can't see the ensemble!? and gives the shush gesture with her finger.

Twitter immediately went into a frenzy, with fans quickly suggesting theories that a new record is on the way, and that the video was taken from the set of an album cover photo shoot.

Meanwhile, the popstar has been posting a series of pictures in the studio on her Instagram account, indicating that she is indeed working on new music.
