I heard the interview about her justification for buying the car. She totally had that entitled ratty vibe. If she was smart she would have spent the money on a very nice tomb stone for her son, or donated the money back to the church for covering the memorial service.. Or she could use the $17,000 to pack up and leave that war zone of a neighborhood, and ditch the gang banger father as well. She could start a new life away from all the violence and pain. She could pursue a higher education at a community college, or even find something she was passionate about. But no she buys a car, when she can't even afford the insurance. So many other priorities yet she wants to buy a car to "keep her safe." A car is concealment, not cover. How about you get out of that neighborhood, ditch the gangster of a father, or even get a concealed carry license if you fear for your safety because of gangs/retaliation/threats. The easiest solution is going somewhere else. If she keeps flaunting the money around, people are going to take what she has. It's a vicious cycle. That woman needs to pull her head out of her ass and check her priorities. Her son wouldn't want her to piss that money away on material objects. Lady, your son would want you to better yourself and escape all that strife and violence.

You had over $17,000 donated, and this page was started to pay for the little man's funeral costs. But since a funeral home offered to pay the costs, why on earth did you use the money to buy a new car instead of returning it to the people who gave it to you with the intent of that money being used for the funeral? This money was not given to you so you could buy a new car, it was given to offset funeral costs. And that's not what you used it for.

now see... I initially figured this, because growing up before gofundme, in my community victims of stray bullets or tragedies would turn to the churches to provide like a lunch and the funeral home would offer to do it for free

so if she INDEED take one of the many funeral home's offers to provide the service for free. she's kinda vile
