What are your thoughts on this ? I am very excited because I feel like me and a potential friend are feeling each other again. But my theory is that people never really change.

Plenty of times. Time truly heals most wounds but depends on why you fell out in the first place tho. I will say that friendships I've rekindled never got back to the same place as before. It's great to let go of the hatred and it feels great at first tho.
