Viacom passed on POSE, thankfully. And that was above BET's head. that show would've died on VH1 or BET, likely before the end of the first season.

They have to start somewhere though, right?  It's about progress not perfection. I get the frustration and skepticism about BET. Let's see if there is more in store behind this push.

This is a move in the right direction. Many in the queer community feel slighted by BET because of past actions and lack of inclusion on BET originals. It feels a bit like the network is pandering to save face, but the proof will be in consistency and continued commitment to the LGBTQ community.
