I say let people date who they want.
Even if they show a pattern of preference towards one specific race.

What they do is their business but once someone begins projecting, then it has the potential to affect people around them. And that's when they need to be dragged IMO.

But aren't preferences outside of ones own race/culture very problematic?

I think we let ppl get too comfy saying preference. It's slippery slope because it doesn't qualify as racism, there's no outward hate behind it, but there's definitely issues with ppls preferences imo

That's because "preference" is a digestible form of racism.

When these preferences are brought into question people get extremely defensive and try to shut it down, even when it's backed by logic and receipts. That's because most don't want to actually think of themselves as racist. In their eyes racism is walking up and calling someone a nigger.

It's a lot easier to be dismissive and hide behind the word preference instead of looking inward and questioning why your "preferences" exist in the first place, and why they seem to be centered around race.

Everyone wants to be racist, but no one wants to be called one.
