Well the people who got the virus travelled to China (Wuhan region) or North Italy for jobs or holiday. People in America and Europe love to travel and have money to spend.

My guess is the Africans just don't travel abroad that much? Less tourism?

also the heat may be a part of it...don't know for sure but it has been said than it doesn't sustain in hot areas/environment .... but well...it's just the beginning..we'll see ..
i hope it doesn't spread the way it is in Italy cause it's gon be a mess
