I want him to focus on an era. Not just release music but have a theme too. Like a real real era.

I'd love that too. But honestly, if it aint broke, there's no need for him to fix it. Every album he releases does well and he gets hit records. All the other male R&B artists are taking long breaks and shit and its not helping them. So he might as well keep up what he's doing.

I mean...don't get to ahead now. Heartbreak on a Full Moon Only had urban radio hits. This new album really was thanks to Drake tbh. Drake was nice enough to use some of his payola towards No Guidance.
The last couple eras haven't had any Guidance tho. It's like all of the songs could have been on the same album. The last real era was X. You can tell his label was behind the song selections.

Urban radio hits is his bag tho. His last pop hit was what? Yeah 3x, when that Pop / Dance phase was out. Chris really is doing the best out of everyone in his peer group and he's gotten a platinum album cert each time regardless of if he has a crossover hit or not. I can see why he doesnt wanna switch anything up cause he keeps having success.

I do feel like he needs that one CLASSIC album tho, like R Kelly and Usher has, so I see ur point.

King doesn't stop

:omgwatshappening:

He already sleeps in the studio as is
and now with this quarantine and nowhere to go, I'm sure he's recording non-stop

:plzstop: :plzstop:
I personally feel like Heartbreak and Indigo were a bit long but they each have at least 15-20 great songs. The rest of the songs aren't bad but I will see they have great replay value and you can listen to the albums and their deluxe editions in their entirety.
