I'm crying. The girls just want to bop down in a right swoop bang to Hot Like Fire. Let them.

I'm surprised Jay didn't buy out the rights and give it back to her moms that's something Michael would've did if he was alive

Y'all give Jay too much.

Exactly! The way he used to big her up and the billionaire he is now, you would've thought smh

I think they might hide the music because her mom can't take it. She lost her child and probably hates that the music industry now. Doesn't want Barry to make money. But that's just my intuition, I don't know what is going on.

Rashad retweeted #FreeAaliyahMusic

Sorry but some of these Li stans are MENTS.
They're obviously not telling the full story on why they were blocked. Making it look like he doesn't want Aaliyah's music out there. He just retweeted that hashtag, plus he's pretty much the only one that's keeping her legacy alive somehow.
Also, stan culture in general gets on my nerve. 35 y.o faggots @ing musicians, DEMANDING things NOW. Like, where is the respect? :disgusted:

You should get blocked if you threaten to end someone's life. I know everyone is mad at Barry but we don't know the family dynamic, I don't know if Rashad and his mom hold a grudge. We don't know the details. I guess if Rashad retweets it the mom is ok with the music online.

Plus Barry wasn't responsible for the announcement last year, that was actually a fan trolling a bit. So people should be angry at the troll for giving false hope.

He did everything; the app, the wax statue, the makeup. People should be grateful, the rest of the fam and friends don't have any power. Timbaland and Missy were not even invited to rework the unreleased songs..Drake somehow took over.
