It all kinda clicked for me when she said she's never had thick skin and feels everything

People with thick skin tend to be less empathetic and look down on anyone who dares to show any visceral emotion. Maybe that's something I need to work on instead of writing people like her off as annoying or pretentious.

This made me reflect a bit. I wouldn't say I have thick skin but I tend to keep shit in and like you said, look down on others that show emotion in this way and I don't even know why I'm like this.
