It's laughable for him to think he has the power to postpone the election, sad that he doesn't know constitutional law and scary to see what the fallout of this is all going to be. His back is against the wall and he's unhinged and delusional enough to blatantly try to destabilize the American way of life in his efforts to throw off the election.

Either way, as per the 20th Amendment, "SECTION. 1. The terms of the President and the Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January."

Presidents can call off elections in lieu of martial law

I acknowledged that in saying that he could try to destabilize the American way of life. Being that many in his own party are distancing themselves from him, he'd be getting massive push back and pressure from every angle if it did come to that. It's a dramatic scenario, but one that the Republican Party won't come out of unscathed. It would just backfire on him and the Party as a whole.
