those are the recommendations under which it is suggested that you quarantine, but under no circumstances do that call for anyone to not quarantine. there is also the high risk category of people (elderly and those with auto-immune/underlying conditions) who are also better off quarantining. then there are those who live with individuals in the high risk category, so there a higher risk of them bringing the virus in from the outside if they do not all quarantine.

so yea, theres lots of valid reasons to still be quarantining 6 months into this since... you know... the pandemic is not over and we do not have it under control. do you guys just lay in bed and fckn dream up ideas of what the hell is going on around you? i'm not trynna be rude but... im struggling because what the fuck?

you obviously don't understand medical terminology or the definition of quarantine. So sit down and take a lesson, dummy.

quarantine technically is reserved for people requiring complete isolation due to an active infection. They have a multitude of restrictions that are not the same as someone that shelters at home. This is widely accepted in the medical community. People who stay at home because of comorbids, age or high risk conditions are not asked to "quarantine." They are self-isolating, which essentially is different and practice common social distancing that applies to everyone. Quarantine is reserved ONLY for people suspected of having an infection or infected.
