I don't think some people really understand what it means to be a celebrity or they just think they'll be different and be able to handle it. Even before social media and everyone always having access to celebrities paparazzi was at their doorstep trying to get exclusives and invading privacy. Nowadays everybody feel like they are paparazzi with their cell phones and everyone feels entitled to share their opinions directly to you and they can via social networks. Not saying any of it is right but it kinda just comes with the fame unfortunately.
Hopefully she can find some balance and peace.
