my fellow executive producer @neilmeron just reminded me that our #rodgersandhammersteinscinderella premiered on #ABC 23 years ago tonight. One of the toughest projects i have ever produced and one of the works i am most proud of. We received 7 Emmy nominations and won one. I love that it has been handed down to subsequent generations and is still beloved today. I personally made this movie for everyone of color to let us know that we could be princesses and princes too. I know what it would have meant to me as a girl to have seen a beautiful @brandy as #Cinderella. Now we have to get the movie on #disneyplus --we are working on it-- and we need to finally get the wonderful soundtrack released! Nothing is #impossible! Missing our comrades #whitneyhouston and #craigzadan.

If Atlantic wouldn't let Brandy release an album with her idol, I could see why she'd want to leave that label.

The way she started building her legacy at such a young age and it's still paying off decades later.
