My heart is with Ma'khia. The fact that she was even in foster care in itself is tough, but to be in a place where kids are calling the cops begging to get out on a monthly basis ...

The odds were clearly against her. I think she snapped. And it sucks that it all ended this way for her.

I've never seen such a high profile case with so much misinformation. First it was reported that she was 15 and now it's 16. First it appeared that she was defending herself against girls from the neighborhood who showed up to her house to jump her and now it's reported that all involved lived in the house. First it was reported that she called the police and now it's unconfirmed who actually called the police. Now the adult woman in the pink jumpsuit was a former tenant, so what beef would she have with a teenager about chores if she no longer lived there?
