there's actually some truth in the REVERSE of what he's saying
many latinos have an "asian" look to them because of Native American lineage (which has deeper ancestral roots in Asia)
you'll see a lot of people questioning why some Mexicans look Asian ...it's because they have some of the strongest Native blood ties among Latinos
I honestly think that's what Lonz is seeing
he's seen a lot of Latinos who have that Asian look to them...that paired with the browner skin...it can definitely give a Filipino/Thai/Southeast Asian vibe.
the mexican lady in this video below said that people asked her if she was viatnemese or filipino so often that it caused her an identity crisis, even tho she knew who she was all her life. sdsdsd
