They def had major influence swag wise, influence, etc but their catalog cannot compete with the lox. We talking 2 decades, 2 record labels, solo tracks and features. Last night just proved that.

I never got the fucking hype with Dipset and their nursery rhymes

Ppl just loved the way they dressed gaudy as fuck

Nah their music is definitely the sound of an era
a real short lived era once Rocafella fell apart.
:dead:

That's ok!

Harlem

I was fuckin embarrassed for Dipset... like they ain't come prepared at all. Fumbled lyrics, had 1000 niggaz on stage for no reason, set list was thought out and let Juelz go off waayyy too late smh.

The Lox and Jada though>>>>>> really gave that uptown old NY bully energy, came prepared af, talked shit and called out every dumb shit Dipset did and I fuckin loved every min of that shit!!!

Yesterday was a good night for NY and proved my initial thought Dipset should've went against G Unit lol

Yeah, Dipset, Cam'ron and the whole hype with them seemed very NY-centered.

:dead: I was watching the Hot 97 DJs recapping it by just playing all the songs each team did
apparently they did a weird format where each side was playing like 3-4 songs in a row at random times  :dead:
and there was a lot of trash talking in between songs but Im not watching that long ass shit

I didn't watch but the Dipset era in the 2000's was undeniable. The East Coast worshiped them. Even my gay ass lived for their mixtapes & albums. I wanted Jim Jones and Juelz :giveittomeddy:

I didn't even realize the Lox discography went so hard.

Song for song it wasn't that bad, but Jada had his team fucking PREPARED just like when he lashed Fabolous last year.

They were giving a show and RAPPING. Once the medleys started, it was really a fucking wrap tho.
