In a now-viral Facebook post, designer Daniel Ngobeni's collection of rope ties was ripped apart by onlookers confused and outraged by how much they looked like nooses. Dubbed "Daniels Rope Ties," the photos show a Black male model sporting the ties around his neck.

"We Proud ourselves in bringing tomorrow's fashion today," the post reads. "Daniels rope ties style is unique, simple and fashionable."

I really think this was done for a moment. Until I see invoices where they've actually received and sent orders to real people Im side eyeing this. Looks like the same 3 people in all the photos, and ain't no way someone is paying for this because this is how cord is wrapped up from the manufacturer straight out of Lowe's. There's no "design" here.

either that or he was just tryna find a way to invest very little and grab a huge profit

wouldn't be the first time someone tried to push a piece of CRAP as something edgy and forward for some quick coins.
buy some rope for $1 a pop, call it "fashion", and then charge $20.

But still... he's SOUTH African. With the history of the arpatheid and its similarities to black oppression in the states ... I'm surprised NONE of his friends , colleagues or business partners were educated on the mess and said "wait sis.... This may not be the move  "
