these weren't career women

most of them were fresh out of high school living with their parents

and this 2K stipend you're mentioning, was that daily, monthly?
how often was it disbursed?
that kinda matters if you're making a direct comparison

well a reality show allowing someone to work a regular job during filming isnt exactly something to applaud

reality television in general is a shitty and exploitative industry .
and you'd literally be picking the less of two evils when tryna argue which treatment was "better".
unless you're discussing reality tv superstars, and even the compensation for what they deal with at that level can be questioned .
especially for those who find themselves spending a lot of their money tryna keep up with an image they've created for the show that's paying them (see: Sheree)

2K in exchange for filming someone's entire life and in exchange for their privacy without even details as to how often it was disbursed is nothing for any company to brag about , and is barely worth bringing up tbh
