I wish the world was so that we could all just be Americans, but it's not. As a Black actress in Hollywood she should know this better than anyone, especially since pretty much the only stations that play her stuff outside of 'Clueless' are Black.

The only reason so many White folks are using her is because she is putting a Black face on their own ignorance. Basically giving them a sense of validation because "She said it too and she's Black!".

It's unfortunate that she has taken this stance, because it really does feel contrived. Like, sis are you so hard up for relevancy and a bit of spotlight that you will sell your soul and sell out your people?

We'll always have Dionne from 'Clueless"...

I'm sure Raven is smiling from ear to ear. This'll definitely alleviate those lashings for the time being

I don't doubt that she'll say something equally as retarded in the coming weeks, though.
