Yeah, artists getting signed to a major label aint really big news anymore. She'll prob be back to being indie in a couple yrs. I'm pretty sure she signed a good deal though with her knowledge of the industry.

hmm I mean idk what a major can do for someone like her, but good for her.

I was thinking the same.

She has a bit of leverage with such a big indie hit. So I doubt the terms of her deal are those of the average artist.

At least I hope not

i think the biggest keyword for this deal is "partnership"

They're pretty much working side by side with the existing entity that she and her husband already have in place

Looks like a very well thought out plan going on ... not just her jumping up and down screaming "I got signed by a major yall look!!! Will read contract later lolz"

Yea i think shes fine, she literally knows all the downsides of bad deals etc.
