Dis new board a lil too high tech for me

I don't think it's so much that it's "too high tech", it's just the layout. I don't like how things are organized now. No disrespect because I know people put a lot of work into this.

But I'm wondering if there's a way for people to go back to having the old layout? I think in the past, we were able to have the option to upgrade or not.
Unfortunately the old themes aren't compatible with the newest forum version. They might update them to work in SMF 2.1, but it depends on the creators.
I'll keep looking out for other new themes, cause I dislike this one too. :hmph:

There are many features I like about the new forum. Overall, I prefer it. Especially being able to embed tweets now instead of having to click links to watch or read stuff. Liking posts is also a great touch and something I missed. Prob the main thing Im not the biggest fan of is the brightest of the board. I preferred a darker color - just makes everything look more organized and less scattered. But I'm not mad at the change. Like w/ everything, will just take some getting used to.

There are browser apps that can make any site dark mode for now. You can change to the plain theme in settings to  make navigation easier.
