This list is based on chart points (positions) 100-1, not actual sales.
That's why the list may seem off for some people.
But it's not - considering how they compiled the list.

For example:
A song could be #1 for 10 weeks and sell 1 million.
And a song could be #1 for 5 weeks and sell 5 million.

Because of the position chart scale, the #1 song at 10 weeks will chart higher, although the song at #1 for 5 weeks sold more.

They combined all the position chart points from different charts to come up with the list.
