as funny as mo'nique is, i never gave the movie a chance cuz i was so sure it would be nothing but a bunch of nonstop "fuck skinny bitches! large and n charge! pass da two piece n da biscuit!"...
its almost as if it was too predictable to even dive in and see what it was giving
but its now one of youtube 's "free movies" so i gave it a chance.
mo kinda went in with this. its funny and def a lot of the "large and n charge!" stuff obviously, but there's actually some depth there too.
real moments and insight
there's even one scene where she acted her ass off and dug deep in emotion.
she's def shown her versatility way before "precious" - its hidden in this movie for sure.
wouldn't say make a whole movie night with the gorls for this but if ur bored one day and want somethin to look at turn it on and enjoy.
