it's crazy how so many people are in the comments calling him "rich" with literally no evidence to back it up

This goes back to what I was telling BetterAngels much earlier in the thread. So many people still automatically associate fame with fortune

Because he was on camera so much that means he was paid tons of money and is loaded.

And these are grown adults in the comments who should prob know better by now. Just imagine the stars in the eyes of these 18 year olds twenty years ago

and if anything i'd say there's a very high chance Miss Jay was actually low-balled in some way when it comes to pay

yes he was fabulous on the show and struttin' his stuff but ultimately he was still a Black gay man on a mainstream show at a time when that was kinda rare

It'a not hard to believe he'd need help financially, he literally couldn't walk/talk...it's probably been months/years of therapy.

And his job was runway tutor, I doubt he was bringing home six figures, or even the same money as Jigsaw or Nigel who were creative directing/doing photoshoots.

i agree that in the grand scheme of things a lot of it is petty

the brutal truth is that it's no one's basic human right to have a modeling contract

 but i stand with the gorls like Dani, Ebony, Tiffany, etc. who were very young and experienced things that were def harmful
