I had this idea of mixing "Take Me" with Sade's "Cherry Pie" a couple weeks ago. Been listening to both songs a lot lately. They each have a very melancholic mood.

It was quite hard separating all the instruments. I basically dissected the whole instrumentation and mixed it from scratch, but also added just a tiny bit more kicks, snares and percussion. Also changed the key.
"Cherry Pie" is from the mid 80s so the rhythm is not 100% on beat, which made everything so much harder. It took me several nights to complete it. But I love a challenge.

It sounds perfectly on beat to me, even with u mentioning it, I couldn't clock! Not familiar with the Sade song but this meshes so well I can tell the vibes are similar. Great job boo!
