The Only BLACK Kalmyks

January 25, 2024, 03:40:41 PM #120 Last Edit: January 25, 2024, 03:49:39 PM by Journey to Kalmykia
I def didn't think trump was winning last time

Covid IMO kicked his ass and drastically reduced his chances of re-election

People were scared , very unsure about the future and needed something more promising than someone making fun of China at every given opportunity

He did not take it seriously initially , and his denial left the country behind in our response to what was quickly becoming the most life altering and life threatening thing many of us will ever see in our lifetime

After he fumbled the ball with his late response to the outbreak , he had no time to recover and regain a lot of trust he lost. It was already time for elections.

Without COVID , I woulda said Trump maybe had a chance in 2020.

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

What honestly makes you think trump wont win and I'm not trying to argue or name call. I'm curious on your opinion

People thought he was going to win last time.. And he didn't. If any of us had to explain why he didn't win it wouldn't just be some easy answer. Multiple issues from handling of the pandemic to just lower enthusiasm. People were tired of his shit, period. Those 4 years were pure chaos.. Constant turn over in his administration when the hires were incompetent in the first place, constantly antagonizing every race of people, encouraging police brutality.. Hell he didn't even "build the wall" right. MAGA is an idea/cult.. It's not an effective way to govern. Trump is an idiot in general. Oh but he gave stimulus checks right? So did Biden

And now after Trump's supreme court justices killed abortion rights, all the mass shootings, the insurrection he INCITED after he lost, his promises to "be a dictator", also being found liable for rape and charged for 90+ other counts of financial fraud and other wrongdoing and people simply don't want to do it again. We're talking about real voters, not noisy people on social media. Independents and moderate Republicans are voting for Hailey. Also the states that decide elections are in the rust belt. We already know Texas and Florida are going to be red lol. Rust belt states are probably even more pro Biden now, especially with union workers.

Presidential elections are always close because of how the electoral college works. Democrats usually win the popular vote by millions. All this to say this ain't nowhere near in the bag for trump. Y'all are blinded by media and your own biases against Biden.

i hear you. you may be right but biden is terrible. no other way to put it. these last 4 years werent anything special to were \he has to be a president again IMO.  trump isnt any better but his fanbase is LOYAL AF. yes he has lost some fans but they are still coming to see in in droves.  I know that doesnt equal votes but yeah.  i guess we will see in less than a year.

Kalifornia.

His lil rallies aren't packing them in like before. Trump has actually lost a lot of momentum.

Amazing

Like I totally understand why ANYBODY would be alarmed at the situation... but I been blocking anybody that constantly mentions Palestine on Twitter because it's so over the top and disgusting. Y'all ain't never seen that flag before in your life and now you got two emoji before and after your handle? That's your whole personality now? This conflict isn't new and their plight is NOT analogous to black Americans. It's giving troll farm and crisis actor. There are other leaders involved and they have been refusing ceasefire. Foreign policy is extremely complicated and regardless of what Biden does, the girls are going to lay it at his feet. There are actual military leaders and foreign policy experts involved on both sides. Hell, most of the people talking about it in this thread either don't live in the US or wasn't gon vote for Biden anyway. Are the girls real humanitarians now or just riding engagement trains?

I wanna know. I really want to know that.

Umm... you do not need to be Palestinian or live in Palestine to believe tens of thousands of people do not deserve to be bombed to death using our tax dollars?

Have y'all never heard of the term "empathy"?

It's genuinely crazy to see how selfish and vain a lot of you fags are when it comes to the topic of Palestine. Yuck.

Exactly.

Also with the Congo genocide it is sadly Africans killing other Africans and once again Israel, the USA, the UK and France are involved behind the scenes.

It's always the same gorls involved causing misery all over the world.

The difference with Palestine is the amount of people killed in such a short period of time. 25,000+ in a few months and a whole region mowed down by planes and bombs.

The optics of the bombardment and the sheer number of dead and wounded can't be ignored unless you don't have heart.

Amazing

if some Black Americans don't have enough emotional bandwidth left to lend to another group of people that they have no connection to , I'd say there's good reason for that.

Only time I'd get frustrated with another Black person is if I see them disrespecting or disregarding Black people.

That would confuse me. Seeing other Black people not caring about Palestines or the Holocaust or Trail of Tears or Ukraine doesn't make me scratch my head.

And to be fair , I wouldn't expect any other groups (especially minorities with their own shit to tackle) to be soldiers on the frontlines for Black people either .

Nobody is going to no front line but we can show some sympathy to our fellow human beings. It doesn't take a lot of effort.

Here are just a couple. Trump even leading with the independent vote as well, which is what he needs to win this.

Time to catch up on the news bbys

QuoteThe New York Times/Siena College polls of 3,662 registered voters in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin were conducted

QuoteThe poll was conducted by HarrisX from Tuesday to Wednesday among 1,045 registered voters. The margin of error was 3 points.

polls! writings on tha wall!

:omf:  :plzstop:
Polls are never 100% accurate. Everyone knows that. But have you been paying attention to any of the caucuses right now? Every projection had Trump winning. Only Nikki being close to him in New Hampshire and he SMOKED her.

The only hope is Trump ACTUALLY going to jail, which won't happen.

See you in November...

not only are they not accurate (which is a given and not even my point) look at these miniscule test pools. the NYT poll conducted included a little over 600 people polled per state. these pills are literally nothing ccxx

and yes, every projection has him winning the republican nomination. this is literally no surprise.

vccccc but yea hun, see u in nov'
Yeah, because it's possible to poll 150 MILLION people accurately

See you in November

no one said that. it's just incredibly idiotic to predict someone winning based on these polls. THAT was the point.

so yea, see u in 'vember
I know you're not... smart, but I twice mentioned these polls are not completely accurate. No one said they are. You'll get it, eventually....

then why did you post these pills in the FIRST place in order to support your assertion that trump has this in the bag

vcccvccccc like u really sound stupid and should stop for your own sake
Omg. Why are you so damn SLOW??

I already knew you were, since you're a Rowldawg and all, but SHIT...

Dumb and dumber

honestly , forcing myself to feel faux sympathy for them wont be much different from being indifferent towards the mess .

Nfnfnfnfnf

Either require and include no action and will yield no results or productivity

I just didn't like them blocking airports over this mess (which other people including yourself said was a bit much) but otherwise I just mind my business.

Not wishing bad on anyone at all. And have nothing bad to say about them. I hope there's some resolve. I don't think anyone wants a bunch of war in the world
