Jennifer Hudson has jams on her actual albums. Clive just didn't know how to market her. There is no reason why she couldn't have a few well known bops from her last album "JHUD" It was actually her best cohesive wise.

She ate these performances, the band brought the songs to life.

Well from my observation of other JHUD threads, there is a level of meanness and harshness she receives even in nonmusic-related topics on the board.

With the majority being Fanny supporters I do think that is the root cause of the nastiness from a few. Why can't we have a discussion about Jen without the mention of Fanatasia or any other Idol star?

Facts. It's a shame. Jen is incredibly talented and successful.  I feel at times she doesn't get the respect and praise she deserves.

That EGOT achievement stamps her icon status. Her profile is pretty high for someone who is looked as mediocre. Jen has performed places and been a part of shows your regular Keyshia Cole could only dream of.

It's fine if they truly don't fuck with her, you can still recognize achievements.  Jennifer existence proves multiple black woman can coexist and succeed in mainstream Hollywood.
