I miss when big iconic Black celebrities could be very familiar at the same time. I always loved how approachable Aretha seemed, even with all of her success and accolades.

When she died, her Aretha's niece talked about her Aunt singing at her high school graduation. If I was related to someone famous, I would want it to be someone like Aretha.
