Quote from: klappa. on February 12, 2026, 06:53:35 PMthis is cute or whatever, but with all that talent, isc what anyone says there could be so much more in store for blaque. i'm not quite clapping

 :unbothered:

What else could be in store for Blaque imho? They were a one hit wonder album group with a few hit singles and got lost in the shuffle as the 00's pressed on.

they didn't get lost in the shuffle, natina passed. blaque had cross over appeal and also garnered a significant following under the name blaque ivory.  it may not be everyone's opinion, but mine is that brandi and shamari's voices still sound current and, with a good producer, they could have a few more cute runs.

Before Natina passed, their second album was shelved in 01, they regrouped in 03 only for it to fall apart after Natina decided she wanted to do ministry or whatever. Yes they had crossover appeal but that ship has sailed now imho. It's nothing wrong with Shamari going back to school and pursuing a career in nursing. Music can't be everybody's be all, end all.

i never said there was anything wrong with her going back to nursing school. i'm a fan of blaque and *i* believe that, with the right positioning, they could do more and be successful. that is my opinion.

:uhh:

klappa.

i'm not seeing arena tours, but an record some new music and hop on one of the million reunion tours popping up every other summer. and if they eat and get a strong response, ep/lp. maybe shamari tips back over to housewives to leverage that platform. i see eht.

No money in entertainment (at least music) for the average entertainer, so get that money, 'mari!

Justice Jackson

This is a good move for her I guess

I do feel like she should still be making music though. It's hard to let go of talented and industry "proven" girls. Especially with today's girls just dizzy as hell, and quite frankly, lazy.
Ketanji Jackson has come this far by faith.

Ketanji Brown will still beatcho ass.

United Nations

i agree the new gorls are "lazy" but look at how much the game has changed. can u blame them?

music can be so much work only to literally get Spotify pennies in return

all the rehearsals, studio time, creative effort and mess to really give a "quality" mess

for it to possibly flop right owt the gate

nsfjsjfnsfjsnsnfsjnfsn

and if it does do well, congrats you got them Spotify pennies coming ur way.

honestly i dont blame the gorls for giving absolutely nothing or just leaving altogether

Off The Wall.

Especially since she's getting her MSN that'll be a good position for her then she can even go further as to become a NP. She'll always have a job because that's where a lot of the jobs are. Healthcare is a lucrative career.
