Vs
Being outraged and insulting the whole show and everyone on it over 1 joke
How is that the same thing?
people have different ways of handling or expressing their discomfort/disgust

im sure there are people who were offended by the George Floyd mess that are only focused on the joke in question

and you have others who question why people who look like them aren't speaking up, and may lash out at them

but i mean when you broadcast/air jokes kii'ing at a Black man losing his life to a cop who was found guilty of murdering him

IMO it's a situation where a bear is poked ....
i mean u can try to dictate how the bear responds, but there may not be a lot of room for requests once instinct/emotions take the wheel.

personally im not over here foaming at the mouth and ready to torch buildings down over the joke

but im also not gonna look at another black person and ask them "why u so upset? lighten up :uhh: "

when being stopped by the wrong cop is a very real, ongoing reality that many people think of every day they leave their house and step into their vehicle

it's so much bigger than just George and his name.

klappa.

the fact of the matter is george floyd is still a very sensitive topic for many people. and whether one thinks it should or shouldn't be at this point, the reality is that it is. and refusing to acknowledge that reality is everyone's own choice to make, but it doesn't change the fact that it's ignorant an insensitive. also there was no need to bring up george floyd in any capacity for this or any other roast. he did it to be edgy and wasn't ready for the backlash.

as for kevin, he's never beating the allegations. the community that is responsible for supporting you in a way that enabled you to achieve this level of success are now speaking on the fact that the joke was offensive. and instead of simply acknowledging that, you take the approach of "well what y'all want me to do about it!?" completely ignorant and out of touch.  par of the course from him atp.
