Summertime

They've been sellouts from the jump.

I remember in the 90s when Jay Prince, Master P and other Black execs wanted to start their own distribution and Jay ran back and told Lyor Cohen.
Jay is fascinating to me. He likes to market himself as "powerful" when he is simply a tool for white men. They always call him up when they want him to peddle something to Black people or if they need a Black name attached. He is for gentrification, selling liquor to Black folks, and so much more..

Jay and Beyonce loved to be knee deep around white people like most Black celebs. Many of them don't have Black agents nor Black lawyers. Companies ran by non-Black people.

Ppl put a lot of words in the Carters mouth and a lot of judgement on how they think just because they are the most popular and successful Black ppl out there
I never heard them say they're POWERFUL and lead the Black community
They're rich capitalist that sell products to everyone

Brandy was literally going around peddling brandy which is alcoholic...
