She probably was on drugs -- corticosteroids. She was seeing a MD while on Broadway to protect her vocal cords. This drug reduces inflammation of internal mucosa. But side effects are a slight Cushing Syndrome: puffiness of the facial area, lips, cheeks, neck, a little weight gain. The symptoms quickly go away after you stop taking them. Nothing illicit, just protecting her voice.

Idk why as soon as she gains a bit she slims right back out! She looked great on Zoe & Broadway! Also my favorite shoot in years was when she was thick.
