KING BENTLEY.

THIS sums up my feelings about X-Men under Fox
it's a shit show, catered to Xavier, Magneto, Hugh Jackman, and that dreadful bitch Jennifer
QuoteBut for the moment, this ?Apocalypse and his four horsemen? poster is something of a letdown. Because guess who is front-and-center again? Look, I like Magneto and I like Michael Fassbender as well. But we?ve had five ?team? X-Men movies thus far, and three of them ended with Eric as the big baddie and X2 made him into a secondary ?final boss? antagonist. Only X-Men: First Class offered a full-fledged X-Men story where Magneto wasn?t the primary danger, and I don?t think it?s a coincidence that it?s the best one of the bunch.

Point being, one of the things that was most exciting about the notion of an X-Men story based on Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) was the notion of getting away from the Xavier vs. Magneto conflict that has powered nearly every single X-Men movie. Of those five team X-Men movies, three have climaxed by having Magneto lift something really big, and nearly all of them have revolved around the philosophical disagreement about how mutants should react to humanity?s ill-will towards them.

Obviously, this is a piece of marketing and not an actual movie. But if 20th Century Fox wants to make the case that this X-Men movie is different from the ones that came before, and the abundance of disaster iconography in the trailer and TV spots suggest as much, then they might want to get away from the whole ?Magneto is going to make things tough for the X-Men once again!? card.

it needs to be under Marvel again. All these emphasis over THESE characters is pure MESS.
Xavier and Magneto ended up being a small part of the X-Men Universe. The couldn't give us more entertaining storylines revolving around Storm, Cyclops, Jean, and Rogue?

That girl who took the Aaliyah role made a big mistake.
It may be petty of me, but I can't take her seriously... at all. For anything she does.

CHOKE

That's how I feel about Olivia Munn.

Seeing her on the posters just makes it look cheap to me.
