May, did u see what she said about Bey in her "Being Brandy" episode on BET centric? That was everything

Sssssdd she had such an honest, come to Jesus moment. "Wtf, I'm BRANDY"

I did.

I know it took a lot for her to admit that. That's why it's always been hard for me to connect to the 'Afro' era. The music was good, but the whole image just wasn't her. I've always felt that way. I appreciate her for trying to evolve at that time, but I feel like she kinda lost herself in the process.

The fact that she was able to be so honest about that really gave me a bit more respect for her.

Bey loves Brandy's style and has spoken on it in the past in terms of harmonies, and arrangements and just straight up loving her voice. And I remember Brandy saying she'd love to see how Bey comes up with her harmonies and backs as well
