The Heat did em dirty and wouldn't give him the amount he asked for. It was 50 million split up into two years, but two years wouldn't have hurt them at ALL, especially with him getting back in shape and staying relatively healthy

He took 3 significant pay cuts over the course of his 13 years with them, and they couldn't return the favor and make that sacrifice. Sad

The Bulls won't be very good though. None of those pieces fit together (including the style of play Coach Hoiberg prefers) and they literally have no depth to speak of.

They're just signing folks for the hell of it at this point, avoiding a total rebuild smh
