According to the newspaper, Sasha has been training at the seafood joint this week, learning how to work the cash register, bus tables and get the restaurant ready for its lunchtime rush.

?She?s been working downstairs at takeout,? a server told the Boston Herald. ?We were wondering why there were six people helping this girl, but then we found out who it was.?

The teen has reportedly been accompanied to her job by six Secret Service agents, who waited outside in SUVs and on benches while she worked.

The Obamas take an annual vacation to Martha?s Vineyard, and Nancy?s is a regular spot for the famous family. The Boston Herald reports that she might have landed the gig through connections since her parents are friends with the owner.
The job may also be more of a learning experience than anything. She reportedly has been working four-hour shifts for several days, but will end her employment there once her family arrives for vacation on Saturday.
The President and first lady have attempted to give their daughters a relatively normal lifestyle by having them hold summer jobs. Sasha?s older sister, Malia, has had a slew of slightly more glamorous gigs. She previously interned as a production assistant on the set of Halle Berry?s CBS show, Extant, in 2014, and worked on the set of HBO?s Girls in 2015. This year, Malia, 18, landed an internship at the U.S. Embassy in Spain. She?s taking a gap year before attending Harvard University in 2017.
