Meagan Good is set to star as the classic character Foxy Brown, in the new television series reboot for Hulu.

According to Deadline, she will serve as a producer on the project, along with her husband Devon Franklin and Tony Krantz. Malcolm Spellman, who is a co-executive producer on the hit Fox series, ?Empire," will serve as one of the writers for the series.

The television reboot is being described as a ?modern reimagining? of the 1974 movie, which starred Pam Grier as the original Foxy Brown.

In the 1974 film, Foxy Brown is out for members of a drug syndicate, who killed her government agent boyfriend. The movie would go on to become a classic and influence other films throughout the years.
