Jennifer Lopez will release an all-Spanish record set for release in 2017 executive produced by ex Marc Anthony.

Lopez hasn?t released a studio album since 2014?s A.K.A., but all that?s about to change in the new year when Lopez releases her new all-Spanish album, a followup to 2007?s Como Ama Una Mujer (which was also co-produced by Anthony), Billboard confirms.

?I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family,? Lopez said in a statement.

Marc Anthony said of the project: ?[Jennifer] has had enormous accomplishments in her career and has been representing our culture all over the world from day one. Her artistry, professionalism and passion for music are just some of the many attributes that have earned her a unique place in the entertainment world that very few people have been able to obtain. I am looking forward to our creative collaboration and to be part of continuing her musical legacy.?

In recent weeks, JLo has reportedly enlisted Brazilian singer Roberto Carlos for a collaboration ? the two are said to be recording a duet together and have plans to film a music video for it.

However, the pop star has embraced her Latin roots for years, recording collaborations with Pitbull (?On the Floor?), Wisin y Yandel (?Follow the Leader?), Wisin and Ricky Martin (?Adrenalina?), Prince Royce and Pitbull (?Back It Up?) Lin-Manuel Miranda (?Love Make the World Go Round?), Alvaro Soler (?El Mismo Sol?) and Marc Anthony.
I'm excited she usually give better vocals in Spanish for some reason  :dead:
