and I honestly don't ever want to go back to school as it stands
I hate papers and exams and projects etc

I have a degree in Criminology and a degree in Computer Science which I'm happy with, but I hate that my career and educational background aren't in alignment

You can never gain enough knowledge so not really.

Although I dropped out of college awhile back because I went with no kind of direction/plans and was just going just to go so I wasted a degree and a few years.

I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to two things so I'm going back early/mid 2017.

     

This recently happened to me! I was about 20 credits away from graduating then I realized I didn't wanna work in the field I was studying for (Psych) and my degree was going to be completely useless.

I've just been saving money and I'm gonna go back in Fall '17. Had I stuck to my plans I would have graduated 2 years ago

Jobs in my fields of study aren't scarce, but are competitive. I guess I was lucky enough to secure a very good job in the financial sector despite not having the pre-requisite business degree, and the pay trumps anything that I could've applied for had I stayed in my field.

Outside of inheriting the I.T guy role at my workplace, the degrees honestly feel like a waste
